Overheard Part Deux

Mom: Nate, did you see all the people at your school? They were there to vote.

Nate: "Yeah, we had a vote too."

Mom: "Oh really? Who did you vote for?"

Nate: "Barack Obama."

Mom: "So why did you vote for him?"

Nate: "Because he had the silliest name."

Ah, the politics of kindergarten.

**EDIT: This morning when Adam told Nate that Barak Obama won the presidential race last night, Nate said, "Aw, man!" I asked Nate why he reacted that way, considering that he'd voted for him yesterday. And Nate said this: "Mom, I really thought that you had to put an 'x' next to the silliest name. And now he's president!" It turns out that the election in school was not explained very well :)

Makes sense. Not far from a lot of people's logic...

If we hear of a recount in kinder we'll know why. That is hilarious. To be "little" again - thats the life.

Too funny. Cameron had a vote at school too. He went the oposite way though, he said that he didn't vote Obama because he had a wierd name.
