Name This Baby! {Post Edit}

We've added a fun little poll to the left
<--------------------------------------
Please be sure to vote and help us name this baby! (And yes, we reserve the right to veto the blog vote and choose our own. haha) And be sure to leave a comment to tell me how you feel about those names, even if you have to tell me what my sister Angela told me : "I hate all of them."

POST-EDIT : How come none of you called me out on saying that the poll was to the RIGHT when in fact it was to the LEFT (and I even had the arrow pointing to the left!)? C'mon now people, I expect you to help me when I have my Blonde Moments and correct me! :)

I know it's probably not what you wanted, but I just had to vote twice. You know my first vote, but I also LOVE Elle, so there you go. Oh, and stick out your tongue out at Angela. :)

This is Angela. I did not say that I hate all of them!! I don't know where you got that from. When Mom yelled to me, "You made Emily's blog!" I thought it would be for a better reason than this!

P.S. You didn't tell us about Elizabeth! I actually like that very much. And also Sophia. So there ya go.

Well, I love all those names! Of course I'm partial to 2 of them! Love the choices. How fun!

Be open minded here -- I voted for Elisabeth. And it has nothing to do with the fact that that's my given name. I always think about names in terms of longevity -- what's going to work when she's a baby/child/teen/young professional/elderly woman? Elisabeth just happens to be a very versatile name. I've been Beth, Lizzy, Liz, and now Elizabeth. Friends with the same name have also been Libby, Liza, Eliza, Izzie, etc. So as she realizes her personality (and Elle may not be it in the long run -- I was supposed to be "Beth" according to my mom), it can change with her. But its also just a very classic name. You'll never get a raised eyebrow, no substitute teacher will ever have a hard time pronouncing it, and it doesn't follow those "trend" names. (I used to work in a senior rehab center and I can't tell you how many women I met named "Fern" and "Pearl.") But really, I think its beautiful and romantic as well. If it wasn't already my name, that'd be number #1 on my list of girl's names...as if I'm EVER going to have a girl! ;)

I really like Calista, Sophia and Brooklyn. They are all kind of exotic and mysterious names...it'll make her more intriguing when she grows up!

Though all the names are very nice I did vote for Calista. Have you ever though about Avery or Ellery or Brittyn...just a thought!

ooooh -- love this poll. I LOVE Brooklyn, Elizabeth/Elle, and Emory (really, they are all super cute -- but these 3 are my favorites). Can't wait to hear what you choose!!

PS Love Amanda's suggestion for Ellory, too. Such a cute/but unique name.

Hmmm the whole left right - always get those confused myself. Good classy romantic names that all have fun and sassy nicknames.

When is your due date I can't find it!

I voted for Brooklyn and Ava. They just seem to fit your family and go well with Nate and Aidan. But that's just my opinion :)
