Spring has sprung in the Lone Star State. We spent yesterday soaking up the rays. I have some great pics that are with "The Editor" of my blogs and they'll be up soon.
Here is a teaser of the beauty we enjoyed at the Dallas Arboretum.

Oh how I love the sunshine!
I do not, however, love the migraines that have been my nearly-constant companion this week.
I drove to Wal-mart and had to call Adam because I was seeing double and was dizzy. I literally couldn't see anything unless I was staring straight at it. Kind of made shopping at Wal-mart during rush hour difficult. Luckily it got a little better before I had to drive home. Anyways, Adam thinks it is just migraines but is making me see a doctor about it. On the phone at Wal-mart, he told me: "The good thing is, you're young, which probably means it is not a stroke." The words every woman longs to hear.
Do any of you suffer from migraines? What are they like for you and what do you do about them? I'm a little nervous that this is a new thing that is not going to go away. It is not fun!
Okay to end this on a happy note, we think we've finally got a new A/C unit installed and almost ready to go! Thank goodness, because tomorrow is supposed to be 83* here!

I'll tell you all about my migraines tomorrow. good news is, for me they are about 95% controllable by me. bad news, when I get one, I have to blame myself only.. ;)
oh i'm jealous of your weather!!! we're supposed to get a nice dump of snow over the next week. my sister gets migraines. she usually spends the day on extra strength advil or something super strong and in bed. she throws up a ton when she gets them. sorry to hear you're having them!!! how awful!!
I get migraines fairly often, especially when I am pregnant. But I know one is about to start because my vision goes wonky...I can only see parts of people and such. As soon as I notice the wierd vision I take medication...when I am not pregnant I take Advil migraine, which also helps with nausea. When I am prego I only take 2 extra strength tylenol. I also find that being able to lay down and close my eyes right away helps allot, but with children that does not happen very often. The ket to keeping mine away or less pain ful is getting enough sleep and taking my medication as soon as I notice my vision going funny. Good Luck with them....they do really suck!
Emily! Hey!! So you're back in Dallas! That's so great! We'll have to get together the nest time I'm out there! How is everything going? Besides the migraines...sorry about that! Stef gets Migraines alot! I can't imagine! Well I hope everything is going great! Your little guys is so cute by the way! I can't believe how big he is!
oh man I am sooooo jealous of your weather!!! Those flowers are purdy!!!! I used to get migranes before having babies - but not anymore. My dad gets them a lot still.... For him certain things set them off and he has figure out what they are and avoids those things. (like fasting, too much sugar, etc). GOOD LUCK!!!!
