The loot!On Tuesday our ward had a great Halloween party. Thanks to Amanda for heading it up (with help from her wonderful committee, of course) We had such a good time. Adam and I didn't dress up this year. It's hard to get into the Halloween spirit when your spouse says "Bah Humbug" ...or whatever the Halloween equivalent is. We lost all our Halloween costumes in Hurricane Katrina, and since then I haven't had the energy to make or buy new ones. But anyways, Nate was dressed up of course, so he represented the family. Next year we will have to get into it, because no one bought our explanations of our "costumes" : "Super Dad" and "a desperate housewife."
The party was a blast, though. I mostly loved seeing all our ward friends dressed up (some were extremely creative!) They had a haunted house, a pinata, games, a costume contest, and dinner. It was quite an event!
